RONNIE JAMES DIO: Five-Hour 'Black Night Meditations' Tribute Available For Streaming

On Tuesday May 18, WSCA 106.1 FM in Portsmouth, New Hampshire — birthplace of Ronnie James Dio — honored the metal legend by broadcasting a five-hour tribute on the show "Black Night Meditations". The 40 songs from Dio's career that were played included many unreleased live cuts, a rare live ELF cover from 1972 of the BLACK SABBATH classic "War Pigs" and a RONNIE DIO & THE PROPHETS song from 1962. Fan-submitted comments were read on air, including thoughts from members of BENEDICTUM, DECEASED and FAITH FACTOR.
